5. If the CE has been configured for Wireless mode, then
WIRELESS STATUS
will be
displayed underneath the
BATTERY STATUS
, and will indicate the wireless signal
strength. If
NO SIGNAL
is displayed, then the infuser is unable to connect to a
wireless Access Point (e.g. because none is in range), even though it may be correctly
configured
.

6. If
WIRELESS STATUS
does not appear, then the infuser is either plugged into a wired
Ethernet, or the infuser has not been configured for Wireless communications.
Once connectivity to the network has been confirmed using one of the above tests, if the
infuser is configured for Auto Programming, this additional test can be performed to verify
that the infuser is communicating with ICU Medical Mednet:
1. Power on the infuser in User mode.
2. Insert a test vial and navigate past the
Vial Confirmation
screen to the
Auto-Program
screen (see the
Autoprogramming
section in the
System Operating
Manual
).
3. If the
WAITING FOR AUTO-PROGRAM
message is displayed, then the infuser is
connected to your ICU Medical MedNet server
