Installing the PC Card Director for Windows 95

Installing the Socket Services Device Driver:

Prepare your

Windows 95 product diskettes or CD-ROM, if you do not already
have the Windows 95 integrated PCMCIA support software installed
on your computer.

To install the ThinkPad Socket Services device driver for Windows
95:

Start Windows 95.

Select My Computer, Control Panel, and System.

Click on the Device Manager tab.

Click on the

mark for PCMCIA socket.

Double-click on PCIC or compatible PCMCIA controller.

Click on the Driver tab to see the Driver files: list.

Click on the Change Driver... button.

Click on the Have Disk... button.

Insert the PCMCIA Installation Diskette for OS/2, Windows 95
into the diskette drive.
