You can use the command line tools to display the VPD for each FRU. Each FRU has

Note: The fan assemblies have only Part Number available.

Service Functions

The 7133 Models D40 and T40 provide support for SCSI Enclosure Services (SES).
These services enable you to get detailed data from a particular 7133 Model D40 or
Model T40, and to change specific settings in that 7133. To do these actions, you use
the 7133 Models D40 and T40 service aids or the 7133 Models D40 and T40 command
line tools. For information about the command line tools, see “Command Line Tools” in
the “Additional Information” appendix (in this book) for your using system.

7133 Models D40 and T40 Service Aids

The system service aids allow you to display the following:

v

Loop and link configuration information

v

Enclosure configuration information

v

Enclosure environment information

v

Change enclosure settings information

These service aids also allow you to change the enclosure settings.

For more information, see Service Aids in the “Additional Information” appendix (in this
book) for your using system.

Loop and Link Configuration Information

For a selected SSA attachment, the service aids display:

v

All the SSA nodes that are connected on each of the loops

v

The speed and type of each node connection

v

The ID of the 7133 in which each disk drive is located

v

The location of each disk drive that is in the 7133

v

The modes and states of each 7133 port

Enclosure Configuration Information

For a selected 7133 Model D40 or Model T40, the service aids display:

v

The contents (device, dummy device, or empty) of each position (slot) in the 7133

v

The speed and type of each external connection

v

Whether the disk drive or bypass card has been exchanged

v

The modes and states of each bypass card port by number
