Installation
The following tasks to set up and configure the appliance are described in this chapter:
1.
Unpack the appliance and verify that all components are present and in good condition. See
“Required items” on page 9.
2.
Make the needed mouse setting adjustments on each target device to be connected. See
“Required adjustments to mouse and cursor settings” on page 10.
3.
Read and follow the “Safety precautions” on page 10.
4.
Rack mount the appliance. See “Rack mounting the appliance” on page 13.
5.
Make all hardware connections between the power source, appliance, local user station, target
devices, and the Ethernet network. See the following sections:
