Library screen
The screen that lets you quickly
fi
nd your audio
fi
les, video
fi
les, and plays lists. It contains
categories such as My Music, My Video, My TV and My Play lists.
Initially your Library will be empty. While you are viewing the Library screen,

Tap Menu > Update Library in order to add new media.
When viewing the Library screen, the following commands appear in Menu.
Command
Description
Queue Up
Adds the selected item to the end of the current (Now Playing)
playlist.
Delete from Library
Deletes the selected item from the library.
Now Playing
Displays the Now Playing screen.
Library
Displays the Library screen so you can choose a
fi
le to play.
Update Library
Adds new items to the library by searching your device or storage card.
Open File
Lets you
fi
nd and play
fi
les that are stored on your device or
storage card but that are not in the library.
Open URL
Lets you play a
fi
le on a network, such as the internet.
Properties
Displays information about the selected
fi
le.
Copy
fi
les to your device
Use the latest version of the desktop Player (Windows Media Player 10 or later) to synchronize
digital media
fi
les to your device (instead of dragging a
fi
le from a folder on your PC to a folder
on your device). Using the desktop Player ensures that licenses are copied with protected
fi
les.
When synchronizing
fi
les, always synchronize them to the storage card that is built into your
device. For more information about synchronizing

les to mobile devices, see desktop Player
