Change browser security settings
The browser can warn you when you are moving from a secure page to an nonsecure page,
and also when content has been blocked by the browser's security settings.
1. Tap Start and then tap Internet Explorer.
2. Tap Menu > Tools > Options > Privacy and Security, .
3. Select or clear the check boxes for Warn when changing to an unsecured page.
4. Tap Done.
Clear temporary fi les, cookies, or history
You may wish to optimize the usage of the browser. To do this you should clear out temporary
fi les, cookies and history. Note that the deletion of these may
1. Tap Start > Internet Explorer.
2. Tap Menu > Tools > Options > Browsing History.
3. Select the item you wish to delete and then tap Clear
NOTE: Deleting history will mean it may take longer to arrive at sites you have previously visited, may cost
more if you are charged for data download, and may mean that previous preferences selected for that site
may be forgotten.
FILE EXPLORER
Your pocket PC has a File Explorer application, just like your PC, that allows you to manage fi les.
Run File Explorer
· On the Today Screen go to Start > Programs > File Explorer.
You are presented with a list of fi les and folders inside the current folder. To move up a level,
tap Up. To go into a folder, click on a folder name.
Copy a fi le
1. Tap and hold a fi le name. A menu will then appear.
2. Choose Copy.
3. Move to another folder. When you reach the folder where you want the
fi le to be, tap and hold it with the stylus and
tap Paste. To move the fi le rather than copy it, select Cut in step 2.
Email a fi le
1. Tap and hold on the name of a fi le.
2. Select the Send option from the menu that appears.
3. Choose an account from which you will send this
fi le.
4. Enter an addressee and tap Send. The fi le is sent as an attachment.
