SEARCH
You can search for fi les and other items stored in My Documents folder or on the storage card of
your device. You can search by fi le name or by words located in the item. For example, you can
search in email messages, notes, appointments, contacts, and tasks, as well as in online Help.
To search for a fi le or an item
1. Tap Start > Programs > Search.
2. In the Search for fi eld, you can:
· Enter the fi le name, word, or other information you want to search for.
· Tap the down arrow icon (), and from the list, select one item that you have looked for before.
3. In the Type fi eld, you can tap the down arrow icon () and select a data type from the list to help narrow your search.
4. Tap Search. The system then starts searching the matched fi les in the My Documents folder and subfolders.
5. In the Results list, tap the item you want to open.
TASKS
Use Tasks to keep track of things you need to do. A task can occur once or repeatedly
(recurring). You can set reminders for your tasks and you can organise them using categories.
Your tasks are displayed in a task list. Overdue tasks are displayed in red.
Create a task
1. Tap Start > Programs > Tasks.
2. Tap Menu > New Task or the Tap here to add new task
fi eld at the top of the screen. Enter a subject for the task and
fi ll in information such as its start, due date, priority, etc.
3. When fi nished, tap OK (See screen on next page).
