7.12 Checking the calibration of the flow meter

The filling volume you set in the user interface is monitored by
means of a flow meter. Check the calibration of the flow meter an-
nually by gauging the capacity. To gauge the capacity, proceed as
follows:

ü

On the filter regulator, set the flushing pressure to 2 bar.

ü

Have a measuring beaker that can hold a volume of > 5 liters
ready.

1. Start a spray extraction with a flushing volume of 5Mess-

becherliters.

2. Fill the measuring beaker using the spray gun (nozzle) until

the set volume, according to the user interface, has been
completely conveyed.

3. Now check the conveyed volume on the scale on the mea-

suring beaker.
A deviation of +/- 5 % (4.75 … 5.25 liters) is below the error
limit. If the deviation is larger, calibration will be required. To
do this, contact HYDAC Service.
