5.2 Making the electrical connections

The extraction unit is delivered ready for connection with a power
plug.

1. Before plugging in the power plug, compare the voltage in-

formation provided on the name plate of the extraction unit
with the available voltage from the power supply.

2. Plug the power plug only into a power outlet with a ground

connection.

The extraction unit is electrically connected to the supply net-
work.

5.2.1 Checking the terminal strip in the switch box

While transporting the extraction unit, it is possible that the resis-
tors come loose in the X2 terminal strip.

Work on the electric supply may only be carried out by a prop-
erly trained, certified electrician.

Pull out the power plug before performing any work.

Prior to commissioning the unit, check the resistors R1 / R2 / R3 /
R4 on the X2 terminal strip according to the following figure:
