6 Operation
Select the different operating modes with the different parameters
on the user interface and start them by approving them on the op-
erator display or using the foot switch depending on the setting.
The required filling volume of the test liquid for sampling can be
set on the user interface. The filling volume is monitored by a flow
meter. If the set filling volume has been conveyed, the directional
valve is closed.
The test liquid in the analysis chamber is drawn through the filter
membrane in the filter membrane holder by a vacuum.
The filling level of the test liquid in the storage tank is monitored
continuously by a level sensor. When the lower fill level is reached
in one container, the system automatically switches over between
the containers. During the container switchover, the message
"Containers being switched" is displayed in the status line of the
user interface. Additionally, the status light will blink red. The sup-
ply of test liquid is locked until the container switchover is com-
plete. The container switchover takes ≈ 75 seconds.
Clean the analysis chamber before starting a contamination test
series with the "Flushing of inner chamber" operating mode with a
predefined filling volume or with the time / duration.
