1. Have a suitable container (1) ready to collect any leaking op-
erating medium.
Carry out the pressure release of the filter housing.
To do this, carefully open the drain plug (2) on the filter bowl
and drain the filter housing fully with the help of the drain
plug (
= 6 mm) on the floor of the filter housing. The ca-
pacity is ≈ 2 liters.
Screw the drain plug again into the filter bowl after draining.
2. Loosen the union nut (1) by turning it in the clockwise direc-
tion and then remove the filter bowl (2).
NOTICE! Use a strap wrench to remove the union nut (1).
3. Remove the used filter element from the element mount in a
downward motion and dispose of it in an environmentally
friendly manner.
