6.5.4 Operating the filter membrane holder with clamp
To insert the filter membrane, proceed as follows:
Inserting the filter membrane

Shut the ball valve upstream of the filter membrane holder.
1. Squeeze the handles (1) of the clip together.
2. Pull out the clamp through the filter membrane holder (2).
Hold the lower part of the filter membrane holder with one
hand while doing this.
3. Carefully release the handles of the clamp and pull away the
lower part downwards.
4. Insert the filter membrane into the filter membrane holder,
press the lower part of the filter membrane holder onto the
upper part.
5. Squeeze the handles (1) of the clip together.
6. Slide the clamp over the filter membrane holder (2).
Carefully release the handles of the clamp - due to the spring
force of the clamp (3), the two halves are pressed together
with the intermediate ring of the filter membrane holder.

The insertion of the filter membrane is complete.
Removing the filter membrane
ü
Wait until the analysis fluid has been fully extracted.
ü
End the extraction via the user interface.
ü
Shut the ball valve upstream of the filter membrane holder.
7. Squeeze the handles (1) of the clip together.
8. Pull out the clamp through the filter membrane holder (2).
Hold the lower part of the filter membrane holder with one
hand while doing this.
9. Carefully release the handles of the clamp.
NOTICE! Make sure that an intermediate ring and two
supporting sieves are used.

The removal of the filter membrane is complete.
