7 | Carrying out the maintenance / inspection

HYDAC FILTER SYSTEMS GMBH

4. Clean the filter bowl and sealing surface.

5. Clean the sealing surface on the filter head.

6. Check the O-ring on the cover for damage and replace it if

necessary.

7. Coat the O-ring on the filter bowl lightly with the operating

medium.

8. For easy installation of the filter element, wet the O-ring on

the filter element with the operating medium.

9. Apply pressure to the new filter element by screwing it in

slightly upwards into the element mount.

NOTICE! Do not use any striking tools.
