7.9 Replacing hoses/plastic pipe
Replace the hoses/plastic pipe at least once every 2 years when
working multiple shifts 24/7 or at least once every 6 years for sin-
gle shift operation, according to
change intervals include the storage duration of the hoses/the
plastic pipe.
Fit the cutting rings with a fitting aid. Details regarding this can be
found in the

Assembly paste to assemble the screwed fittings
The extraction unit will be contaminated/the analyses will become
unusable

Do not use any assembly paste to assemble the screwed fit-
tings
To replace the hoses/the plastic pipe, you will need the following
tool:
- Hose cutter
- Fork wrench
= 14 mm
- Fork wrench
= 17 mm
- Fork wrench
= 19 mm
Always use original spare parts which have the corresponding
conductivity with the use of G60 Spezial or Feroclean L261.
7.10 Calibrating the temperature probe (optional
with ultrasonic)
If the extraction unit is equipped with an ultrasonic system, the ul-
trasonic bath is monitored by a temperature probe. Have the tem-
perature probe for the ultrasonic bath calibrated annually by HY-
DAC Service.
