Parameter
access
: Configures the port as access port.
hybrid
: Configures the port as hybrid port.
trunk
: Configures the port as trunk port
Description
Use the
port link-type
command to configure the link type of Ethernet port.
Use the
undo port link-type
command to restore the port as default status, i.e. access
port.
You can configure three types of ports concurrently on the same switch, but you cannot
switch between trunk port and hybrid port. You must turn it first into access port and
then set it as other type. For example, you cannot configure a trunk port directly as
hybrid port, but first set it as access port and then as hybrid port.
By default, the link type of the port is Access port.
Example
# Configure Ethernet port Ethernet2/1/1 as trunk port.

System View: return to User View with Ctrl+Z.
