Indicator

Meaning

Hard disk drive or plug-in drive.

The OmniBook is accessing the

hard disk drive or one of the plug-in accessory drives.

Floppy disk drive.

The OmniBook is accessing the floppy disk

drive.

PC Card.

There is activity between the PC Card and the computer.

Keyboard Status Icons

Indicator

Meaning

Caps Lock.

Caps Lock is active.

Num Lock.

Num Lock is active (Fn + F9).

Keypad Lock.

The built-in embedded keypad is active (Fn + F8).

Num Lock must also be on for the numeric keys. Otherwise, cursor
keys are active.

Scroll Lock.

Scroll Lock is active (Fn + F10).
