Vault. If they are the same, their network login will automatically pass
through to the Media Vault.
User names can only contain letters, numbers, or underscores. Spaces
and other special characters are not permitted.

Type and confirm the
Password
.
The user uses this password whenever they access private shared folders
or the Photo Webshare on the Media Vault.

Check
Photo Webshare Manager
to give the user the ability to
manage webshare visitors and approve photos submitted by users.
If you do not check this box, the user can log on to Photo Webshare to:
view photos or videos,
save photos to their computer, or
view slideshows of photo albums.
Additional options can be turned on for users that do not have the
Photo
Webshare Manager
box checked. These options must be turned on
from within Photo Webshare. For additional information, see

.

Select the
Folder Access
level for each private shared folder.
User’s do not have access to new or existing folders by default.
Full Access
- The user can open, change, and create files and sub-
folders.
Read Only
- The user can open files or folders but they cannot
create, rename, or change them.
None
- The user cannot see the shared folder or access it in any way.

Editing a User
Media Vault administrators can change user information at any time. Edit
information when a user forgets their password or when you need to change
access privileges to a shared folder.
