Figure 6-1
shows the top ejector latches on the fabric boards, and includes the following
information:
1.
Security screws on each board complete the board seating, and lock of the board in place.
2.
The latch release button, which also electronically signals a board extraction request when
you press it.
3.
The latch mechanism. After pressing the button (and waiting for the hot swap LED to
illuminate), lift both ejector latches simultaneously to eject the board.
4.
The hot swap LED. When hot-swapping a board, it is safe to lift the ejector latches only while
this LED is illuminated.
6.2 Installing or Replacing the sFB-12 Fabric Board
You can install up to four fabric boards at the front of the ISR 9288 chassis.
