License states
General
•
Expiring
. All discovered licenses are currently valid. However, one or more expires within 60 days.
•
Over capacity
. One or more resources has exceeded a license’s capacity.
Oracle-integration
•
Not licensed
. None of the arrays on which the resource is stored are licensed.
•
Partially licensed
. One or more arrays on which the resource is stored are licensed, but not all.
•
Fully licensed
. All arrays on which the resource is stored are licensed.
Mount points for Oracle restores
The mount points (drive letter and directory names) for restored Oracle resources are created as follows:
•
Using a GUI action or job command, you specify an
existing
drive letter and directory (full path)
on an enabled host, for example
C:\pets\cats
.
•
When the replication manager begins the restore, it creates
new
directories under the existing
directory. The new directory names re
fl
ect the original mount points. For example, if the original
Oracle resources were on drives H: and K:, the new mount points are
C:\pets\cats\H
and
C:\pets\cats\K
.
Oracle online redo logs
The replication manager does
not
discover or display Oracle online redo logs.
•
Do not back up
. Online redo logs are not discovered or displayed because they typically should
not be backed up. While actually backing them up is not a problem, restoring them overwrites
the current online redo logs and makes it impossible to completely recover a database.
