• HP Host Agent Admins . To interact with the replication manager server, each Windows enabled
host must have this security group and at least one member (user account).
• hphaadm . To interact with the replication manager server, each Linux, UNIX, and OpenVMS
enabled host must have this security group and at least one member (user account).
Security credentials vs. tasks
Replication manager tasks can only be performed by members of the HP Storage Admins group or HP
Storage Users security groups on the management server. See security credentials con fi guration .
Most tasks require membership in the HP Storage Admins group. The following table shows the
