Aborting a job instance from the CLUI

Open a CLUI window
2.
Issue a Show Job command. Include the job name and the instances switch. Review the output
and note the instance name or instance ID of the speci
fi
c instance you want to manage, for
example, daily_backup-4 or ID: 55ed822a-0afb-48ad-95bd-d362389344ad.
3.
Issue a
Set Job
command. Include the job
instance name or ID
and the
abort switch
.
4.
Review the output and con
fi
rm the action.
Continuing job instances
Continue a paused job or a running job that is waiting. See
pause and continue

You can use the GUI Run History tab or Monitor Job window. You can also use the CLUI. See

Procedures
Continuing a job instance from the GUI
1.
In the navigation pane, select
Jobs
to display the Jobs window in the content pane.
2.
Click the
Run History
tab.
3.
Select the job instance to continue.
4.
Do one of the following:
• Select
Continue
. A con
fi
rmation window opens.
• Select
Monitor
. On the Monitor Job window, click the
Continue
button. A con
fi
rmation
window opens.
5.
Click
OK
to con
fi
rm the action. Execution of the job instance resumes.
Continuing a job instance from the CLUI
1.
Open a CLUI window.
2.
Issue a
Set Job command
. Include the job
instance name
(or ID) and the
continue switch
.
Copying jobs
Copy an existing job and use it to create a new job.
Considerations
•
You can only use the GUI to copy a job.
Procedure
1.
In the navigation pane, select
Jobs
to display the Jobs window in the content pane.
2.
Click the
List
tab.
3.
Select the job you want to copy.
4.
Select
Actions > Edit
. The job is displayed in the Editing Job window.
5.
Enter a new name for the job.
6.
Click
Save As
. The job is saved under the new name.
