Unpacking the Cabinet Assembly
Be sure to read the following unpacking instructions before proceeding.
WARNING
Be very careful when unpacking the cabinet! The loaded SPU
cabinet can weigh up to approximately 808 lb (366.5 kg).
To unpack the cabinet, perform the following steps:
WARNING
Wear protective glasses while cutting the plastic bands around
the shipping container. These bands are under tension. When
cut, they can spring back and cause serious eye injury.
1. Cut the plastic polystrap bands around the shipping container.
2. Lift the cardboard top cap off of the shipping box, as shown in Figure 2-1.
3. Remove the clam shell box from the pallet.
4. Remove the ramp and packing material (item 1 in Figure 2-2) from the top of the
cabinet. Two persons may be required to lift this item.
