Central User Management Window
DVR Management Add/Delete DVRs managed by the Central User Management
Software.
User Management Add/Delete/Modify User Accounts and User access
privileges.
Log In Only the Administrator can modify settings. In order to open
the DVR Management or User Management options, the
Administrator must login.
Log Out Logs the Administrator OFF and locks access to the DVR
Management and User Management options.
Exit This option exits the Management Station Software.
Setting Up the Central User Management Server
To set up a Central Management User Server follow these steps.
1.
Install the Central Management User Software on a computer or DVR.
2.
Run the software and open Site Management. (Logging in may be necessary)
3. Add one or more DVRs to the list and click OK to save and exit Site Management.
4. Open User Management.
5. Add users or update user settings and click Exit.
6.
Minimize the Central User Management Software.
Note
If the software is closed, any updates made on the DVRs will not be
broadcast to the other DVRs.
