Installing the 7810iR-ent for Private LAN 

7810iR-ent uses a one time Installation Key to install all 7845i-ent’s that have been 

properly programmed and connected to the network.  Up to 225 7845i-ent’s can be installed 

using one 10-digit key.  Once the Installation Key has been used for an install, it is no 

longer needed for system operation. 
Before attempting to install on a private LAN, complete the following checklist: 

•

 

Program 7810iR-ent as described in the previous section.  Have the unit’s City ID & CS 

ID available for use when programming the 7845i-ent’s. 

NOTE: The Installation Key cannot be changed once at least one account is registered with 

the 7810iR-ent.  If it is necessary to enter a new Installation Key the 7810iR-ent data base 

must be cleared first. 

•

 

Ensure all 7845i-ent’s being installed have been programmed with AlarmNet-i = NO 

and Private LAN = Y. 

•

 

Ensure all 7845i-ent’s being installed has been programmed with same City ID and CS 

ID as programmed into the 7810iR-ent. 

•

 

Ensure all 7845i-ent’s being installed have unique Primary Subscriber numbers. 

•

 

Ensure 7810iR-ent and all 7845i-ent’s have good network connectivity by observing the 

WEB led.  If the WEB led is not lit, the network connection should be checked.
