Home Screen
The 7810iR-ent uses a Graphical User Interface (GUI). The user programs and controls the
unit by pressing the required touch screen buttons.
The 7810iR-ent home screen is shown below. New incoming alarms are displayed using
Contact ID or ADEMCO high-speed format in the New Alarm Window. When a new alarm is
received it will be displayed in the New Alarm Window until the alarm is transmitted to the
line card or automation equipment, or manually acknowledged. When the alarm message is
transmitted, it is moved from the New Window to the Alarm History Window.

Alarm History window
Displays cumulative alarm history.
New Alarm window
Displays new alarms.
Test button
Used to send a test alarm in AlarmNet-i application. This has no
function in an enterprise application.
Recovery Mode Status indicator
Enables the operator to see if the recovery mode is ON.
Flashing green light indicates that recovery mode is ON.
Time display/button
Displays the time.
Note: When accessed from Advanced Setup screen, it enables an
authorized operator to set time, date and time zone.
Silence Alert button
Used to silence new alarms and move them to the Alarm History
window.
Manual Override box
When checked,
allows the operator to quickly select manual
mode while in either Line Card or Automation Mode if Fail to
Manual Mode is selected.
AlarmNet Setup button
Used to access all the 7810iR-ent programmable features.
Private LAN, Mode, and System
status displays
Used to indicate network status, operating mode and overall system
status, respectively. When used in an enterprise application where
the 7810iR-ent is not reporting to another Central Station, the
network status display will show AlarmNet Blocked. This is a normal
condition. If “Private LAN Only” LAN Config is selected then
network status display will show Private LAN.
