At low outside temperatures or
when the vehicle has not been
used for a long period, normal
engine oil pressure and flow is
affected.
Under these conditions, the
engine should be started and
allowed to idle for a few minutes
before operating at higher rpms.
Parking
1. Apply the parking brake firmly
without engaging the release
button.
2. Automatic transmission: Select
position
P
.
Manual transmission: If facing
uphill or on flat ground, select
1st gear. If facing downhill,
select reverse gear.
On an uphill gradient turn the
front wheels away from
the kerb.
On a downhill gradient turn the
front wheels towards the kerb.
3. Shut all windows.
4. Turn the ignition off to lock the
steering wheel.
5. Remove the key.
6. Press
Q
on the key to lock all
doors. See

Warning
To avoid the possibility of injury,
always apply the parking brake
firmly before exiting the vehicle.
Be careful where you park or
drive. As with any vehicle, do not
park or operate this vehicle in
areas where combustible
materials such as dry grass or
leaves can come in contact with
the hot exhaust system.
