Tyre Pressure Monitor
System
This vehicle may have a Tyre
Pressure Monitor System (TPMS).
Caution
Modifications made to the Tyre
Pressure Monitor System (TPMS)
by anyone other than an
authorised service facility may
void authorisation to use the
system.
Maintaining manufacturer's
recommended tire pressure is part
of best practices to optimize the fuel
consumption of the vehicle.
The Tyre Pressure Monitor System
(TPMS) uses radio and sensor
technology to check tyre pressure
levels. The TPMS sensors monitor
the air pressure in your tires and
transmit tire pressure readings to a
receiver located in the vehicle.
Note
The spare wheel may not be fitted
with a TPMS sensor.
The tire pressure monitoring system
checks the pressure of all four road
wheels once a minute when vehicle
speed exceeds a certain limit.
Caution
The TPMS is not a substitute for
proper tire maintenance, and it is
the driver's responsibility to
maintain correct tire pressure,
even if under-inflation has not
reached the level to trigger
illumination of the TPMS low tire
pressure light.
Each tire, including the spare (if
provided), should be checked
monthly when cold. If required, the
tires should be inflated to the
pressure specified on the tire
placard. (If your vehicle has tires of
