Chapter 5: Label Definitions
Radius
Rounded corners may be added to rectangular labels by making Radius any number larger than 0. The larger the
number, the more rounded the corner. Radius will be shaded out if Elliptical is selected for the label shape.
TT printer type
If the label will be used with a Thermal Transfer printer you should choose the TT printer type option. This option will
activate some options that apply only to this type of printer.
Label Guide - Page Layout
The label guide’s second page sets up the label page size for the printer. This is where you enter the information per-
taining to the label itself.
Preview
Just like the first screen of the Label guide, the Preview window allows you to see what the label you are defining will
look like when you print it.
Sheet Size
If you are printing with a thermal transfer or dot matrix printer, you will need to define a custom page size. To achieve
this, you must select
User Defined. If you are using a label for a laser printer or ink jet you will most likely want to
choose Letter .
Width
If you have chosen User Defined under Sheet size you must enter the custom width of your label. Measure the full
width of paper backing for the label you wish to define. Enter that number here.
