Chapter 3: Table
The addition of more lines can be done manually or can be done when you are in the
Label design guide wizard
at
the beginning of the program.
Simply click on the
variable text
icon three times.
Serial Numbers
If you wish to add a serial number to the unnamed data table, you can click once on the cell of the beginning serial
number and right click your mouse to bring down a pull down menu.
Select
Sequence
from this menu and you will see the following screen.
Base
- This is where you select the
serial number type.
TagPrint Pro allows you to choose between Base 10, Base 8, and Base 16 and Alpha-Numeric.
Prefix
- Any fixed prefix that does not change from serial number to serial number.
Start
- Beginning serial number.
Stop
- Last serial number
Increment
- Number to increment. If you select 2, the serial number would print as 1, 3, 5, 7, etc.
No of each
- Number of each serial number to be printed. (Example, with number of each set to 1, the sequence
will step 1, 2, 3, 4, 5,…. With number of each set to 2, the sequence will step 1, 1, 2, 2, 3, 3, ….
Sets
- Number of sets of serial numbers to be printed.
Suffix
- Any suffix that does not change from serial number to serial number
Skip
- This will leave empty cells between each serial number. If you select a SKIP of 2, the first serial number would
drop into cell A1 and the next serial number would drop into cell A3, leaving a blank cell between each serial
number.
Insert rows
- This option, when checked, will add rows for the text. It will overwrite existing text if it is left
unchecked.
