Entering Text
You will find that entering text in TagPrint Pro’s table is very similar to entering text in many popular spreadsheet pro-
grams. To enter text in a cell (the box that the text goes in), you must first select it by clicking on it once with your
mouse.
Pressing any character on the keyboard will begin editing of the cell. Simply type the information into the cell that
you want. While you are editing a cell, a cursor (blinking line) will appear to show you the insertion point. A cell may
contain an unlimited amount of information.
If you wish to return to any previous character to insert more text, simply use the right and left arrow keys on the key-
board. If you wish to delete characters in the cell to the right of the cursor, press the
Delete
key on your keyboard. If
you wish to delete characters to the left of the cursor, press the
Backspace
key located just above
Enter
on the
keyboard.
To finalize changes to a cell and to exit the edit mode, simply press the
Enter
key. The cell below the one you were
editing will become highlighted. Alternatively, you may press the
Tab
key on your keyboard to go to the right of the
cell you were editing. Finally, you may also just click on a different cell to finalize changes and move directly to a cell
that is not connected.
Cut and Paste
Like many popular spreadsheet programs, TagPrint Pro allows many cut and paste features that make data entry and
manipulation much easier. These functions work much like other programs, so you should be able to pick them up
very easily.
Cut
Use the
Cut
command to remove data from selected cells in your table. The data that you remove will be temporarily
stored in the computer’s memory (clipboard) for future recall. The selected text can then be pasted to somewhere else
in your TagPrint Pro table or to any other Windows program that accepts data from the clipboard. You may access
this command in a number of ways. You can find the command in the

menu of TagPrint Pro, you can click on

after it is copied to the clipboard. You may access this command in a number of ways. You can find the command in
