Description
Use the
ls
command to view the information of all the files and subdirectories under the
current directory of the remote FTP server. The file names and subdirectory names are
displayed.
Use the
ls
remotefile
command to view the information of a specified file or
subdirectory.
Use the
ls
remotefile
localfile
command to view the information of a specified file or
subdirectory, and save the result to a local file specified by the
localfile
argument.
NOTE:
The
Is
command can only display the names of files and directories on the FTP server, whereas
the
dir
command can display other related information of the files and directories, such as the
size, and the date they were created.
