CAUTION
If you are too close to an inflat

injure you. Safety belts help
keep you in position in case an

a collision.
The driver should sit as far back

maintain control of the vehicle.
Frontal air bags are not
designed to inflate at all in roll

side crashes.
Roof-mounted roll-over air bags
are designed to provide both

side impact piOtection and iOII-

designed to inflate in a rear

CAUTION
Do not attach anything to the
area from where the air bag
inflates.
If something is between an
occupant and an air bag, the air
bag might not inflate properly
or it might force the object into
the occupant, causing severe
injury or even death.
The path of an inflating air bag
must be kept clear of any
objects at all times.

CAUTION
(Continued)
Do not secure anything to the
roof of your vehicle by routing
rope or tie-downs through any
door or window opening. This
will block the inflation path of a
roof-mounted side impact air
bag.
The path of an inflating air bag
must be kept clear of any
objects at all times.
Vehicle occupants should not
lean or sleep against the doors.
