Press and hold the Four-Wheel
High and Four-Wheel Low
Lock buttons together for
about ten seconds.
When the transfer case is in
neutral, the indicator light
for the neutral transfer case
position will turn on.
6.
Hoid the reguiar brake pedai
down.
- If your vehicle is fitted with
an automatic transmission,
shift the transmission into
R
(Reverse) for one second,
then shift into
D
(Drive) for
one second.
- If your vehicle is fitted with a
manual transmission, shift
the transmission into first
gear, then release the clutch
pedal for one second .

Make sure the transfer case is
in neutral.
If the indicator light for the
neutral position is not lit,
repeat the procedure starting
at step
3.

Turn the ignition to
ACC.
9.
Shift an automatic transmis
sion into
P
(Park). Shift a man
ual transmission into
1
(First
Gear).
10.
Turn the ignition to
LOCK.
Release the park brake prior to
towing.
To shift out of the
N
(Neutral)
transfer case position:
1
.
Set the park brake and apply
the regular brake pedal.
2.
Shift an automatic transmis
sion into
N
(Neutral) or push
the clutch pedal if you have a
manual transmission.
Turn the ignition on but do
not start the engine.
3.
Press the appropriate button
to shift into the desired trans
fer case position.
When the transfer case is no
longer in neutral, the indicator
light for the neutral transfer
case position will turn off.
4.
Release the park brake.
