Rear Door Security Lock (If
fitted)
The rear doors may be fitted with
locks that help prevent passen
gers, especially children, from
opening the rear doors from
inside.
The locks are located on the edge
of each rear door.
When the security lock is engaged,
you can unlock the door from the
inside. But the door can only be
opened from the outside.
Security lock Activation
Insert a key into the slot next to
the rear door security lock label.
Turn it to engage or disengage the
lock.

Swing-Gate
Use the power door lock switch or
the keyless entry transmitter to
lock or unlock the swing-gate.
Pull the handle to open the swing
gate slightly. The swing-gate
automatically opens the rest of the
way .

Driving with the swing-gate
open could injure pedestrians
or damage the vehicle. Make
sure the swing-gate is
completely closed before
driving.

It can be very dangerous to
drive with the swing-gate open.
Carbon monoxide (CO) gas can
come into your vehicie. You
cannot see or smell CO. It can
cause 1mconsciousness and
even death.
