Windscreen Washer Fluid
Use windscreen washer solvent
such as
GM
Optikleen® rather
than water to prevent freezing and
for better cleaning.
Add washer fluid until the tank is
full.

•
Don't mix water with ready
to-use washer fluid. It could
freeze and damage washer
system components.
•
When it's very cold outside,
only fill the tank

full with
fluid to allow for expansion.
•
Don't use engine coolant for
your windscreen washer. It
can damage your washer sys
tem and paint.
Battery
Your vehicle is fitted with a battery that
requires no periodic maintenance.
•
You will never have to add
water to the battery.
If the vehicle is not going to be
driven for
25
days or longer,
disconnect the cable from the
negative (11-11) terminal of the
battery to prevent discharge.
&CAUTION
Batteries have acid that can
burn you and gas that can
explode. You can be hurt badly
if you aren't careful. See the
section titled 11How to Use this
Handboo�for tips on how to
work around a battery without
getting hurt.
Battery posts, terminals and relat
ed accessories contain lead and
lead compounds which can cause
cancer and reproductive harm.
