PLAYING AN MP3 AUDIO FILE
To insert a disc while the ignition is
off, first press
�
(located next to
the compact disc slot) or
DISP.
Insert a disc part-way into the slot,
label side up. The player will pull it
in the rest of the way.
READING
will appear on the
display.
If the ignition is on, the disc will
begin to play as soon as it is
inserted.

If the ignition or the radio is turned
off, the compact disc will stay in
the player. When the ignition and
radio are turned on, the compact
disc will resume play at the point
where it stopped.
A
compact disc symbol will appear
on the display.
A
track number will appear on the
display when each track starts to
play.
Normal size discs can be loaded
into the compact disc player.
However small,
8
em (3-inch) discs
can only be played with specially
designed adaptors .
If playing a
CD-R,
the sound
quality may be reduced due to
CD-R
quality, the method of
recording, the quality of the music
that has been recorded, or the way
the
CD-R
has been handled. You
may experience an increase in
skipping, difficulty in finding tracks
and/or difficulty in loading and
ejecting. If these problems occur,
check the bottom of the
CD
for
damage or try a known good
CD.
