When re-installing the dipstick,
make sure to flip the handle
back down to lock the dipstick
in place.
Use DEXRON® -VI fluid in your
automatic transmission. You can
buy this fluid from your dealer.
NOTICE
Damage caused by the use of
any fluid that is not recom
mended is not covered by your
new vehicle warranty.
Change the fluid and filter at the
intervals recommended in your
Maintenance Schedule .

Manual Transmission Fluid
(If fitted)
It is not necessary to check the
transmission fluid in your vehicle,
however you may have the fluid
level checked by your dealer or
service centre when you have the
oil changed. If the fluid is leaking,
have your vehicle serviced.
As
it may be difficult to perform
the following procedure yourself,
you may prefer to have the fluid
level checked by your dealer or
service centre.
NOTICE
Too much or too little fluid can
damage your transmission.
The transmission could
overheat.
Make sure the transmission
fluid is at the proper level.
