Pre-Heaters
Operation The operation of the pre heaters is completely automatic within the PLC
program to maintain the operator set point.
Pre Polymer The Gusmer HyBrid style heater is constructed from aluminum with a low
watt density that will give very stable temperature control during static
and operating conditions.
Heater Rod Each pre-heater contains 6 heating elements rated @ 1500 watts each.
Curative
The curative heater is constructed from stainless steel to prevent possible
chemical reaction.
Heater Rod The pre-heater contains 6 heating elements rated @ 1500 watts each.
Start-Up Determine that the pre-heaters are filled with chemical and pressurized
before turning on the power.
Over Temp SW
The safety switch is factory set at 220
°
F and cannot be adjusted in the
field.
CAUTION The over temperature switch on the Heater resets automatically when the
temperature drops below 200 deg F.
Maintenance There is no normal operating maintenance.
