Inlet Safety Valve

Operation

Operation of this valve is completely automatic to close and isolate the buffer
tank in the event of an Emergency Stop.

The valve defaults to the CLOSED position when:

•

Main air is CLOSED

•

Control power is lost

•

The Gun Service Switch is selected ON.

The yellow indicator shows the position of the valve. Perpendicular to the
valve (as shown) indicates the valve CLOSED and parallel indicates valve
OPEN.

Maintenance

There is no normal operating maintenance.
