Unloading Valve
NOTE: Different valve shown for
clarity. Orientation of the adjustment
screws is the same.
Pressure Adjustment The pressure limits can be field adjusted as follows
•
Determine that the accumulator is pre-charged to 1920 psi and that
the manual unloading valve is CLOSED.
•
Turn on the hydraulic motor and allow the pressure to stabilize.
•
Adjust the overpressure (‘O”) limit clockwise to raise the pressure.
•
Slowly crack the manual unloading valve and note the falling
pressure until the under-pressure limit is reached and the pressure
begins to rise. Make small adjustments to the under pressure (“U”)
limit and repeat the bleed process to check the new pressure setting.
