make the necessary adjustments. vehicle PLC and navigation controller may mutually mon-
itor their communication. This guarantees a higher level of security. The Vehicle PLC is re-
sponsible for controlling vehicle components such as motor, brake, speed and steering.
Four IO channels are available as well. Their configuration depends on the set vehicle op-
tion. For most vehicle options IO 1 - IO3 stand for the Posi Pulse inputs from the transponder
antennas and IO4 for the emergency stop output.
