6.1 Boil Out Procedure - continued
9. Disconnect Quick Disconnect Hose, remove the Filter Pan from Fryer.
DO NOT drain Boil-Out solution into the Filter Pan! Contents are
corrosive and will cause damage to the Filter Pan, Hold-Down
Frame and Filter Pump. Failure to comply will result in equipment
or property damage, and such damage is not covered by the factory
warranty.
10. Position a suitable
Heat Resistant Container

beneath the Fryer drain.
The container used for this step should be heat resistant up
to 300°F (148°C). Plastic is generally not safe as it may melt
or break. A leak-proof metal container is preferable. Failure
to comply with this caution may result in personal injury.
11. Slowly turn the Drain Valve Handle

to the
[OPEN]
horizontal position, drain boil-out solution into catch
container; carefully monitor draining and empty the catch
container as needed. As solution is draining, use provided
Brushes to scrub heating elements and pot surfaces to help
remove residue.
12. Rinse and flush the Fry Pot thoroughly with clean hot water.
Empty catch container as often as needed, taking care not to
allow it to overflow.

5. Place the Power Switch

7. Controller will power-up. When alarm sounds, press
[ALARM]
key ... Fryer enters
PREHEAT
.
Upper Display
shows message
“PRESS [BOIL] - GO TO BOIL-OUT”

Press the
[BOIL]
key

, unit enters Boil-Out mode;
temp setting changes to
200°F (93°C)
and time begins
to count down from
30 minutes
. Allow the complete
cycle to run.
8. At the completion of the Boil-Out cycle the
“
DONE”
alarm sounds;
place both the Selector Switch

and Power Switch

in the
[OFF]
position.

NOTE:
As a safeguard, the temperature
setpoint automatically changes to
50F when a BOIL OUT cycle ends.
Before cooking activities can
resume, a Menu Item Preset must
be re-selected, or a temperature
setpoint must be manually re-
entered.
