The EAC Cell is installed and powered. This is

the only indicator illuminated when the EAC is

functioning normally.

WASH/CHECK

These two indicators turn

, to signal a

condition that requires attention. Two (2)

minutes after these lights turn

, a beeping

alarm will sound, the

Heat Light

will turn

OFF

and heating elements are shutdown. The

message

“ERROR ALARM - CLEAN THE EAC”

displayed on

OLED Display

There are various causes for this alarm.

Typically, collection fins in the Cell are

excessively dirty; clean as described in the

following Section.

Other possible causes include; damaged Cell,

poor connectivity (dirty contacts), missing

ionizer wires, faulty wiring, or EAC power

supply malfunction

Three LED indicator lights on the Control Panel display the operational status of the Electronic Air Cleaner (EAC).

IMPORTANT! DO NOT use WASH/CHECK indicators as the

signal to perform routine cleaning. To maintain peak

performance, the EAC cell must be cleaned DAILY as

described in

Section 7.1.8

Should

LED indicators turn

when the power is turned

, the EAC system may have a possible internal fault.

A qualified service technician will be required to troubleshoot the problem.

If all (3) LED’s are ON at power-up, the EAC cell is not

installed, is misaligned, has a poor connection, or other

problems exist. After (2) minutes, the EAC system will go

into an alarm condition.

1. Ensure the airflow indicator arrow points

2. Align Cell in the guide Channels and slide into the

chamber. If installed properly, Cell will be flush

with Hood front. If not, alignment pin is not

engaged; Cell is not installed correctly.

3. Replace Access Cover and latch.
