Fryer Operation
11. After approx. 5 mins, turn the Drain Valve Handle

to the
[CLOSE]
position (vertical). Allow the Pump to
run until the Fry Pot refills.
12. When oil has been completely pumped back to the Fry
Pot, place the Selector Switch

in the
[OFF]
position (centered) to stop pump.
13. Be sure oil is at the proper level, add if needed.

Wearing Oven Mitts
, disconnect Quick-Disconnect
Filter Pan Hose

, remove the Filter Pan and lift off
Cover.
15. Using the provided Crumb Scoop

, remove filter
sediment from the surface of the filter media and
discard. Unless there are obvious holes or tearing, it is
not necessary to replace the filter media after every
filtering cycle.
IMPORTANT!
At a minimum, the Filter Pan
should be thoroughly cleaned and fitted with
fresh filter media

16. Replace Cover and reinstall Filter Pan.

If FORCE FILTER is [ON], the Fryer will not exit FILTER MODE and return to normal operation unless oil
temperature has decreased to, or below, the [FILTER RESET] temperature setting in
USER SETTINGS

F. Typically, oil will be cooled sufficiently during the filtering process to reset the Fryer.
To allow the Controller to reset from FILTER MODE, Power Switch must remain in the [ON] position throughout
the filter process. If switch is turned OFF, Controller does not read that oil temperature has decreased below
reset temp.
