5.1.4.1 Editing a Menu Item Preset - continued
E. Edit STIR OVERRIDE Setting:
Certain food products may or may not require stirring during the cook cycle, regardless of the global [STIR ALARM]
setting in USER SETTINGS (Section 5.1.7) . [STIR OVERRIDE] is provided so that [STIR ALARM] can be individually set
for particular Menu Items. Options are [SKIP] ... [FORCE] ... [NORMAL] .
[SKIP] - Alarm will be skipped.
[FORCE] - Alarm will be forced ON .
[NORMAL] - Alarm will occur as specified by the global setting.
Factory-default = [NORMAL].
To edit setting, scroll to and select [STIR] as shown on Page 41 ... [>] pointing to [STIR]
Press the [START] key to toggle between the available options.
D. Edit FISH FILTER Setting:
To minimize potential for flavor transfer to other products, Users cooking seafood items may wish to force
operators to filter oil after cooking only one (1) or two (2) batches of the item, regardless of the global [FILTER
COUNT] setting. Options are [ON] ... [OFF] .
[ON] - Fryer enters FILTER Mode after completing one (1) cook cycle of the specific item.
[OFF] - Fryer complies with the global [FILTER COUNT] setting.
When [FORCE FILTER SNOOZE] is set to [ON] (USER SETTINGS, Section 5.1.7) , one (1) additional batch can be
cooked before Fryer enters FILTER Mode .
To edit FISH FILTER setting, scroll to and select [FISH FLTR] as shown on Page 4 1 ... [>] pointing to [FISH FLTR]
Press the [START] key to toggle between the available options.
