This chapter describes the start-up and configuration procedure for the FlexPay EMV CRIND
display module.
Configuring CRIND IDs and CRIND Mode (CRIND
Diagnostic Mode)
The CRIND diagnostic mode is used to configure the CRIND IDs and CRIND Mode, and any
other peripheral devices connected to the dispenser.
• As an additional security measure, the FlexPay EMV CRIND keypad requires
that the Enter key be pressed after any number entry (in diagnostic mode only).
• Unlike previous versions of the CRIND software, the CRIND ID and CRIND Mode
must be configured independently on each side of the dispenser.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
To enter the CRIND diagnostic mode and configure the CRIND IDs and CRIND Mode,
proceed as follows:
