PLATFORM COMPONENTS
8 Use a soft metal drift to remove both pivot pins.
Remove the platform rotator from the machine.
Crushing hazard. The platform
rotator may become unbalanced
and fall if not properly supported.
Note: When installing the platform rotator
fasteners, torque the fasteners to specifications.

Specifications.
S-85:
9 Remove the pin retaining fasteners from the jib
boom and jib boom leveling arms to platform
rotator pivot pins. Do not remove the pins.
10 Support the jib boom leveling arms.
11 Use a soft metal drift to drive both pins out, then
remove the platform rotator from the machine.
Bodily injury hazard. The jib boom
leveling arms may fall if not
properly supported.
12 Lower the jib boom leveling arms.
Crushing hazard. The platform
rotator may become unbalanced
and fall if not properly supported.
Note: When installing the platform rotator
fasteners, torque the fasteners to specifications.

How to Bleed the Platform
Rotator
Note: This procedure will require two people. Do
not start the engine. Use auxiliary power for this
procedure.
1 Move the function enable toggle switch to either
side and activate the platform rotate toggle
switch to the right then the left through two
platform rotation cycles, then hold the switch to
the right position until the platform is fully
rotated to the right.
2 Place a suitable container underneath the
platform rotator.
3 Open the top bleed screw on the rotator, but do
not remove it.
Bodily injury hazard. Spraying
hydraulic oil can penetrate and
burn skin. Loosen hydraulic
connections very slowly to allow
the oil pressure to dissipate
gradually. Do not allow oil to
squirt or spray.
