To provide comfortable conditions in the passenger compartment of vans
with two rows of seats and buses the additional heater is installed which heats
the air inside of the cab or passenger compartment. The air flow rate is con
trolled by handle

To cut in the ventilation:
— turn handle

(fig. 8.2) to the extreme left position (wide part of the
blue symbol);
— choose the mode of air distribution by turning handle

to get the desirable rate of the air flow coming to the pas
senger compartment;
— adjust the direction of air flows by turning the shutters of ventilation
grids.
To make heating and ventilation effective be sure that the grid of the hole
for air intake located on the hood before the windscreen is free from leaves,
snow, etc.
Cab and medical compartment heating and ventilation of GAZ32214 and
GAZ322174 vehicles are similar to those of buses.
Selfcontained heater

ОН32Б1203 is used as additional heater in med
ical compartment in GAZ32214, GAZ322174 vehicles.
Selfcontained heater is airandflame type. It operates using fuel from the
vehicle’s tank. The heater may be used during parking of the vehicle and in
movement irrespective of engine running.
