9.14.2. Periodic maintenance
Procedures for periodic maintenance are stated in the service book supplied
with the vehicle.
9.14.3. Vehicle lubrication
1. Never use fuels, oils and liquids of other grades except for those speci
fied in subsections 9.15. and 9.16.
2. Prior to lubrication remove dirt from grease nipples and plugs to avoid
its penetration into the vehicle’s mechanisms.
3. Lubricate with grease gun until fresh lubricant comes out from all joints
and sealings.
4. When the engine oil is changed for another grade or company the lubri
cating system should be flushed with flushing oil.
Never mix (top up) engine oil of different grades and different companies.
