4. Deselect the STANDBY BATTERY switch

Verify the following:

•

“ARM” annunciation extinguishes on the

STANDBY BATTERY switch.

•

STBY attitude motor and STBY altimeter vibrator

remain active.

•

Visible white portion of the STANDBY BATTERY

switch remains illuminated full bright.

5. Remove aircraft power by selecting the

battery switch to “OFF” position.

Verify the following:

•

The STBY Attitude motor is deactivated (the sound

of the motor may be present as the gyro spools
down).

•

The STBY altimeter vibrator is deactivated.

•

Visible white portion of the STANDBY BATTERY

switch extinguishes.
